DAC7 Reporting

Modified on Thu, Aug 3, 2023 at 1:02 PM

DAC7 is an EU tax directive that requires digital platform operators in the EU to report revenue as well as personal and company information of sellers to the tax authorities once a year.

Therefore, Wolt has to report information about our partners to the Hungarian Tax Authorities – both business and private personal information of individuals who have delivered during the first half of 2023.

You can read more about DAC7 here.

What information do I need to provide as a courier?

Make sure that your information is filled in correctly in the survey sent to you in the Wolt Partner App as the information that you provide will be sent to the Hungarian Tax Authorities.

  • Your full name (as in ID)

  • Your country of birth

  • Your primary country of residence

  • Whether you are tax liable in a secondary country

  • The secondary country where you are tax liable (if applicable)

  • Your TIN number from the secondary country where you are tax liable (if applicable)

  • Who the owner of the account is where you have received your Wolt earnings

We will also be reporting the information that you have already provided to Wolt such as your primary address and date of birth in addition to your business information if you have delivered in 2023.

How do I provide this information to you?
Providing this information is important to be able to continue delivering on the Wolt platform.

In the Wolt Partner app, we have sent you some information by email and post about DAC7. In addition, we have sent you a survey which is where you can provide the requested information.

The given link is generated only for you, please do not share it as it contains information about your business.

What happens if I do not provide this information?

We will be sending you some reminders to finish the DAC7 survey. You will need to complete this survey in order to continue delivering on the Wolt platform.
