Delivering age restricted items

Some orders may include items – such as alcohol, adult products, and more recently certain energy drinks – that are legally restricted to individuals over 18 years of age.

What should you do in such cases?

  • If a task contains age-restricted items, you’ll see it clearly marked in the Courier App.

  • It’s important that you always make sure the customer is over 18. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask them to show a valid ID.

  • If the customer cannot prove they are over 18, do not hand over the order. Instead, contact Support via the Courier App – they’ll help with the next steps.

Important: Failing to verify the customer’s age may be considered a breach of your service agreement with Wolt and could lead to the termination of the partnership.
