Some orders may include items – such as alcohol, adult products, and more recently certain energy drinks – that are legally restricted to individuals over 18 years of age.
What should you do in such cases?
If a task contains age-restricted items, you’ll see it clearly marked in the Courier App.
It’s important that you always make sure the customer is over 18. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask them to show a valid ID.
If the customer cannot prove they are over 18, do not hand over the order. Instead, contact Support via the Courier App – they’ll help with the next steps.
Important: Failing to verify the customer’s age may be considered a breach of your service agreement with Wolt and could lead to the termination of the partnership.
